Over the years, the HFA has published a number of Hudson / Hutson-related genealogy books as well as a compilation of 30 years of HFA Bulletins.  These publications are available for sale at substantial discounts to our members and with FREE shipping.

"Hudson Records of Virginia" by Donald Claire Hart

The contents of this work concerns the existing land, property, will and estate records found for many Hudson, Hutson residents of Virginia with their earliest recorded transactions through 1850. Since the state of West Virginia was part of the Commonwealth of Virginia until 1861/63, records for early West Virginia Hudson, Hutsons are included under the Virginia counties in which the residents were evident. Some State land grants were made in Albemarle, Goochland, and Westmoreland Counties. Each volume includes maps, index and bibliographies.

"Hudson Records of North Carolina" by Don Hart

This single volume publication, comprised of 252 pages, concerns the existing land, property, will and estate records found for the many Hudson, Hutson residents of North Carolina, beginning with their earliest records and continuing until about 1850. These records were found in about two-thirds of the counties that existed during that time. This volume contains maps, a full name index. Hard-cover. $32.50 members; $42 non-members

"Hudsons of the South in the 1790 Census" by Malcolm H. Hudson

This single 79 page volume covers the states of Delaware, Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. Only available on CD $9.00 members; $15 non-members

"Hudsons on the 1850 Census" compiled by William A. Shull, Jr.

These are not typical census indexes. The entire census listing of Hudsons and Hutsons have been extracted by the author, household by household, and arranged in alphabetical order by the first name of the head of household. Each text is arranged by name of head of household within the county and with a first name index. The page numbers of the respective original census are also included. All are soft cover.

Volume 1 covers the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
Volume 2 covers the states of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont.
Volume 3 covers the District of Columbia, Maryland, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Virginia
Volume 4 covers the states of Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Texas

"Hudson Marriages in North Carolina" compiled by William A. Shull, Jr.

These marriage records are recorded on 44 pages. The booklet contains both a name index and an index of the marriages by county. Soft cover. $5 members; $9.00 non-members

"Hudson Marriages in Virginia" compiled by Malcolm H. Hudson

This single volume publication, comprised of 73 pages, contains the marriage records from county, church, Bible, family records, deeds, wills and court records, many of which were almost illegible. The data was collected by many HFA members who then submitted the information for storage in our central files. The text contains a full index comprised of over 2400 names. Soft cover. $7.50 members; $13.00 non-members

"Hudson-Hutson Marriages in Texas" compiled by A. D. Hudson and Weldon Hudson

The marriages compiled in this publication cover about 150 counties in Texas. Some counties in the far west and northwest Texas are not included. The records are from published books, microfilm, and from personal visits to some county courthouses. The marriage records cover the period from the 1840's to about 1900. Soft cover, 85 pages. $9.50 members; $15 non-members 

"Hudson Ancestors My Father Never Knew" by Malcolm H Hudson.
This single volume publication, comprised of 176 pages including index, contains many records of deeds, land plats, wills, charts etc detailing Malcolm's research to identify and document his Hudson ancestors.   While the search was geared toward the Hudsons of "Amelia/Chesterfield" Virginia there is substantial data on many Hudsons.  Soft cover. $40 members; $65 non-members.

"Hudson Family Association Bulletins 1973-2004" on CD (only) compiled by Dr. Harold Hudson.

The first thirty (30) years of the Association Bulletin, along with the previously published Hudsoniana Newsletter, are captured on a CD as PDF files. The free Adobe Acrobat Reader - - is required to read the files. This CD is available only to active HFA members. PRICE: $40.00
